This policy explains how shipping, delivery, and returns are handled when purchasing from Urban.

1. Shipping Destionations

We currently ship to European countries only, including Portugal (continental and islands), Spain,and other EU countries.

We do not ship to destinations outside Europe.

 

2. Shipping Carrier

All orders are shipped via CTT (Portuguese Postal Service) or its international delivery partners.
Once dispatched, responsibility for delivery is transferred to the carrier.

3. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout and depend on:
• The total weight of your items;
• The delivery destination
Shipping fees are based on the prices charged by our carrier and may be updated at any time without prior notice, in accordance with changes applied by the carrier.
All applicable shipping fees are displayed before completing payment.

4. Order Processing

Orders are processed after full payment is received.
Once dispatched, you will receive an email confirmation with shipping details.
Processing times may vary during peak periods or holidays.

5. Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times are as follows:
• Portugal (continental and islands): ~2 business days
For the Azores and Madeira, delivery times may be extended due to transportation limitations.• Spain (Peninsula only): ~2 business days
Shipments to Spanish islands (Canary Islands, Balearic Islands, Ceuta, Melilla) may require additional shipping time or customs processing.
• Other EU and non-EU countries: ~3 business days
These are indicative delivery times for main destinations and do not include any customs clearance time, which may cause additional delays.
• Outside Europe: We do not ship to destinations outside Europe.

 Customers may contact us for more specific information if required.

6. Customs Duties & Taxes (Europe – non-EU countries)

For shipments to European countries outside the European Union, orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or additional fees imposed by the destination country.
These charges are not included in the product or shipping price and are the sole responsibility of the recipient.
Customs clearance procedures may also cause delivery delays, which are beyond Urban Sardine Lda’s control.

7. Food Products & Right of Withdrawal

Due to the nature of our products, returns are not accepted for food items once delivered.
In accordance with EU consumer law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:
• Sealed food products that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons, once unsealed after delivery.

8. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products

If you receive a product that is:
• Damaged during transport
• Defective
• Incorrect
• With broken or compromised packaging upon delivery

Please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the order at:

Include:
• Your order number
• A description of the issue
• Clear photos of the product and packaging

If the issue is confirmed, we will offer a replacement or refund, at no additional cost.

9. Refunds

Refunds are only issued for products that are proven to be damaged, defective, or incorrect upon delivery.
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method.
Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider and financial institution.
