Our story
Sobba was first introduced in 2019 with a simple mission: to share the benefits of Tartary Buckwheat in a modern, nourishing form. Inspired by the desire to offer something organic, sustainable, and health-positive. We brought this naturally gluten-free infusion to Portugal as a gentle, daily ritual.

At Sobba, we care for the planet. Our Tartary buckwheat is organically grown using practices that protect the soil, conserve water, and promote biodiversity.
Sobba is also designed as a circular product:
after infusion, the grains can be enjoyed in meals or returned to the soil as natural fertiliser. For packaging, we use recyclable single-material plastic to preserve freshness, while continuing to explore more sustainable alternatives that balance environmental responsibility with product protection and cost.
